Fiber Protectors
We offer several different types and brands of protectors. The job of a protector is to repell spills and allow time for you to clean the spill from the carpet. It will also keep soil and liquid spills from penetrating deep into the carpet fiber and possibly turning into a stain that will not come out. Dirt and mud have a harder time sticking. This makes the possibility of spots to be removed much greater when we return to clean your carpet. Protectors also prolong the life of your carpet by making it more difficult for dirt to wear out the fibers.
We offer two choices of protectors:
- For carpet, we use a water-based, biodegradable, concentrated with flurochemical co-polymer solution. This is great for soil and overall spills.
- For upholstery, we use a petroleum-based, flurochemical, co-polymer solution. This repells soils and liquid spills. It is an excellent product for upholstey and drapes.
Protectors maintain the cleanliness of your carpet for longer periods of time. We suggest re-applying protector after every cleaning to
insure 100% protection.
